Grapefruit Diet

Yes i have tried this one twice... I hate grapefruit and its Juice... so bitter... but i did 1cycle and lost a good 6 LBS one cycle consists of 12 days of being on and 2 days of being off... Which they say you should loose up to 10 LBS in the 12 days... however i lost 6 only because i did cheat and wasnt very strict with myself while in vegas and coming home...
The diet basically consists of this...
1/2 grapefruit or 8 oz unsweetened grapefruit juice with all three meals
for breakfast 2 eggs( made anyway) and 2 slices of bacon
then for lunch and dinner you have as much meat as you want... and a salad...(well as much as would make you full)
You can not have carbs (no bread, no pasta, etc) and then no sweets
also you need to stay away from the following veggies...
White onion (can have red onions) no potatoes (can have sweet potatoes) -Basically any starchy veggies you can not have...
you can have as much green veggies as you want
but i am going to be starting something new very shortly when i start it i will fill you in... I already have 2 family members doing this other one... one is in the middle of her first cycle of doing it (40 days is the cycle length) and she is down 23 pounds... and the other one is just starting...
