My reboot… Not sure which # this is…

_MG_2239I am very excited I just got a new baby… and no I am not talking the screaming keeps you up late at night kind… I am talking about my NordicTrack 2.5gx… I call her Lucy and so far we have ridden over 30 miles…

I am so looking forward to getting my life back on track… I should've asked for one of these a long time ago… I'm talking about the time I was doing my cardiac rehab… We looked at getting a treadmill but we really do not have a lot of roo_MG_2237m in our tiny condo…

I am Starting all over… Portion control + Riding my bike 30-60 mins a day and I think I can ride my way through this weight loss… (pun intended) _MG_2238I bought some Glad mini round bowls to help with lunch and breakfast portion controls… I made eggs this week with some turkey sausage and onions, black pepper and garlic salt to add a bit of flavor… two eggs scrambled fit perfect in there… and the ziploc snack bags are perfect… one handful of a snack and in the bag it goes…

It also helps that I have been using my fitness pal… What a great handy tool to have… And they have apps… I have it on my iphone and my ipad… it really has been a motivator and a help…

I also find that when I exercise at 6pm after dinner that I am not as happy to go after the snacks later on in the evening… less intake more outtake is really helping already…

I just haven't felt my self lately.. I had lost about 35 LBs when I had my heart attack… it helps that I wasn’t really eating and that can lead to a substantial weight loss… and the same thing happened when I had my gall bladder removed in Jan but by the time we were on the cruise I had gained half of it back… and I was not happy about it but I was also in denial… Photo Nov 21, 8 05 35 PM

This is a change to a lifestyle that I no longer need to be living.. the sedentary one, that eats gobs of food to help with suppressing her feelings… this is one of a happier healthier korie…

Back at it...

It has been a long long time... I am telling you since the last time i wrote tons of crap hit the fan...
I didnt quite finish my second round of the HCG diet ... I got down to 199 and that is about it... 2010 ended and 2011 came in... we went to dc and on the way back Someone had a heart attack at the McCaren Airport in Vegas and died... that would be me... but yet i was brought back and am still kicking... anyways if you want to read about it then click here... I was saved by two emts that were supposed to be on our flight... Thank GOD for AED's...  I had about 2 months of recovery time and then i was back at work... in october we went to THE WORLD for the 3rd time... and then 2012 came  and t  January saw me divorcing my Gallbladder... those darn gallstones hurt like no other...

Anyways I am starting the Couch 2 5K... Yep i have to do something... and this is the best thing i think i can do... I need the endurance and such.... and it will help with my metabolism and my cholestrol and my heart... overall a win win... YEP, I said it... not looking for the easy way out looking for something that is going to kick my butt...

Not sure if i will be checking the inches every week or every 4th week... I am not sure... But the weight will be at least every week...
anyways so far so good... Putting it out there and hoping this journey will be an awesome one...
I have my first 5K (walking not running) on March 17th... In Vegas with my friend Tennille...

what's going on?

 

So the new plan will be starting tomorrow and I will be counting my calories… 1200 a day… Yep counting my calories… exciting huh… I bought some lean cuisine, got some 100 calorie packs, and some vitamin water and such… so it will be interesting to see how this process goes and where it takes me…

So excited… I am sorry that i haven't really been blogging lately… it has even been a struggle on my family blog as well as my creative blog… We have been super busy… more often away from the homestead than at home… which is why i think i didn't do as good this time as the 1st time i did the HCG…

So total loss since January is 38.4 LBS… almost at 40LBS… but the best news is that i am under 200LBS… that right there is a milestone for me… that blue denim shirt in the photo is a LARGE… yes a LARGE… and the pants are an 18 but they are big on me…

I am wearing LARGE shirts instead of XXL or XL… That right there is a huge improvement… then the pants i have gone from a size 20 to a size 16… I can buy stuff at TARGET… Probably at OLD NAVY too but i am waiting on that one… Next goal is to fit into my LEVI’S size 14 SHORT…

So now i will be on Phase 3… and i really don't see my life slowing down any time soon… I will post when i can… hopefully every day if not every other day…

It is interesting to see the progression i have made and the transformation that has begun… so excited to carry on forward… i now have 39.4 Lbs to reach 160… that is my next goal…

Days 22, and 23 (Friday and Saturday)

Same eating habits as i usually have…

For Friday i took a nap at 445pm and didn't get up until 845 so yes a 4 hour nap with no dinner… by the time i got up it was too late to have one… oh well

On Saturday i went for a walk with a friend about a 20 min brisk walk… I had tons of errands to run…

For dinner i had chicken… grilled on the BBQ marinaded in apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, garlic salt and some grilled chicken seasoning… YUMMY!

Day 21

So yesterday i didnt realize that it was the half way mark… Wow… but kind of not really since last week was that time of the month… so, really i am on like day 19… but whatever…

Weigh in 203.0 so i did an apple day today… since i was pretty much the same as the day before…

so yeah my day was pretty boring… I have been tired lately… but i think it is because my body is fighting off a cold… yes i said it a cold in JUNE… WTH… whatever… anyways cant wait to see what i am weighing in tomorrow…

I am seriously 3 lbs away from 200 and 4 lbs away from 199… so excited…
