I am very excited I just got a new baby… and no I am not talking the screaming keeps you up late at night kind… I am talking about my NordicTrack 2.5gx… I call her Lucy and so far we have ridden over 30 miles…
I am so looking forward to getting my life back on track… I should've asked for one of these a long time ago… I'm talking about the time I was doing my cardiac rehab… We looked at getting a treadmill but we really do not have a lot of room in our tiny condo…
I am Starting all over… Portion control + Riding my bike 30-60 mins a day and I think I can ride my way through this weight loss… (pun intended) I bought some Glad mini round bowls to help with lunch and breakfast portion controls… I made eggs this week with some turkey sausage and onions, black pepper and garlic salt to add a bit of flavor… two eggs scrambled fit perfect in there… and the ziploc snack bags are perfect… one handful of a snack and in the bag it goes…
It also helps that I have been using my fitness pal… What a great handy tool to have… And they have apps… I have it on my iphone and my ipad… it really has been a motivator and a help…
I also find that when I exercise at 6pm after dinner that I am not as happy to go after the snacks later on in the evening… less intake more outtake is really helping already…
I just haven't felt my self lately.. I had lost about 35 LBs when I had my heart attack… it helps that I wasn’t really eating and that can lead to a substantial weight loss… and the same thing happened when I had my gall bladder removed in Jan but by the time we were on the cruise I had gained half of it back… and I was not happy about it but I was also in denial…
This is a change to a lifestyle that I no longer need to be living.. the sedentary one, that eats gobs of food to help with suppressing her feelings… this is one of a happier healthier korie…
